Industrial label printing
Scuba Tank Stickers uses thermal transfer printing. It is built for fill stations, boats, clubs, and technical teams. The durability target is a label that stays readable through wet handling, saltwater, sunlight, temperature changes, abrasion, and transport. Reaching that target depends on the printer, ribbon, label material, adhesive, surface preparation, and placement, not the printer alone.
Zebra is the first supported printer family. ZD421T Wi-Fi has been tested on real hardware. Additional printer integrations will be announced only after model, connectivity, print-quality, and label durability testing.

Thermal transfer printing uses a ribbon to put a durable image onto the label material. Long-term readability still depends on matching the ribbon, face stock, adhesive, cylinder surface, and expected exposure, then proving that combination in real diving conditions.
Saved label history is useful when the same diver, course, team, or rental cylinder returns for another nitrox, trimix, oxygen, or stage label.
The label should keep O2, He, MOD, ppO2, pressure, owner, and analysis date readable without becoming too large for cylinder placement.
Small: 76.2 x 50.8 mm (3"x2"), the current default. Large: 101.6 x 76.2 mm (4"x3"). Test both against the printer DPI, media, cylinder placement, and required reading distance.
Printer support roadmap
Zebra ZD421T Wi-Fi printing is the verified real-hardware path. The app can be configured for Zebra Bluetooth, but Bluetooth has not yet been validated on real hardware. Its printer layer is designed to accept additional vendor adapters. Brother printer research is open, with model priorities informed by the hardware divers and fill stations already use. Every new model, firmware, transport, ribbon, label material, and iOS/iPadOS combination must be tested before relying on it at the bench.

Scuba Tank Stickers helps format and print labels for analyzed gas. It does not analyze gas, verify oxygen content, choose a safe MOD, or replace proper fill-station and diver procedures.
Printer workflow only matters when the label itself has the right fields for the cylinder, gas, and handoff context.
